JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for the administration of the overall business, financial and operations of the district. Member of the Superintendent’s Executive Team with a central role in school district planning and analysis of current programs, support systems and expenditures.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

  1.  Bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, education or a related field
  2.  Master’s degree preferred.
  3.  Five years of business management or supervision or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience  that demonstrates the ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position.
  4.  Experience in budget preparation and management.
  5.  Labor relations experience preferred.
  6.  Ability to communicate effectively at all organizational levels within the district and with external agencies (media,  government agencies, etc.).
  7.  Demonstrate ability to lead, organize, coordinate and implement programs, develop an effective relationship supporting  building administrators; prioritize and manage complex projects.
  8.  Demonstrate ability to connect with students, staff and community members in a mutually respectful, supportive and  accessible manner.
  9.  Demonstrate ability to supervise and evaluate staff.
  10.  Demonstrate knowledge of state and federal programs and requirements.
  11.  Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  12.  Ability to demonstrate knowledge and understanding of current educational issues.
  13.  Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  14.  Ability to provide leadership and support.
  15.  Ability to make decisions and resolve complex issues in a timely, organized manner.
  16.  Evidence of experience and training needed to perform the functions required by the position.
